A spot where they will forever differ, yet that alone is intriguing to her — to continue to see what it is they agree and disagree on. In knowing him for as long as she has, being coupled with him as long as she has, there are still numerous things she’s yet to learn — perhaps things they she will never be able to learn based on the time they may share. Hm.
So it’s best to make haste, then. Attention brought to the tea bags in his hand, she gives a slight nod and a mumbled yes through lips.
☀ —- “Uh—ahm, tea! I’ll just take some tea.” She knows it’s complimentary and she doesn’t feel like rising the bill anymore than it needs to be. Though she could pay for herself, tea is better for you, anyways. Conveyor belt sushi has always been so convenient. She doesn’t know why she doesn’t dine at such locations more often.
☀ —- “Now, then. Are you going to tell me about your day? Or do I have to start first? Here: I sang a lot, and I fell asleep in the lobby. Also, Luka shared her tuna with me for lunch. Exciting, right? Your turn.”
He prepares two cups of tea mechanically as he takes his seat, pushing one over to Miku as she finishes speaking about her day. Most of his attention was not on that task, however, but on her words. She may say the day is boring, but he is always interested in her words. When she asks for his day, he sips at his tea.
❄~ "My day wasn’t that interesting, either. I met up with Kikaito for lunch. We wound up sitting for a few hours and talking. He just graduated High School, so he has big plans.”
Kikaito was probably the brother Kaito was closer to. He was protective and close with Kaiko, but he had a different bond with Kikaito. They had complimentary personalities, and conversation was never difficult between the two of them. Reflecting, Kaito can’t help but think that conversation is easy-flowing between himself and Miku, as well. Another reason that he enjoys her company so much?

❄~ “After that, I went grocery shopping. Terrific ending, huh?”
Well, he had met Miku. That was a good thing, right? He turns to the conveyor, surveying the sushi hungrily. A plat of shrimp nigiri is quickly scooped up by the pianist, who wastes no time in scooping it up. He appreciates the fact that he doesn’t have to wait for the food, like this.
