This was finally the time to get out of the castle, for the first time actually so far. But what would she do when she goes out? She didn’t really think of that yet, but she would come up with something eventually… Right?
Stepping out from the door, she looked around. There were no guards or anything.. But was it really such a good idea to leave without saying anything? Well, she was not sure if she should’ve told them… What if they did not allow her out? But were they really people like that? Well, she was already out, no time to think about it.After thinking for a long time, maybe just take a walk till she arrived somewhere? Yeah, maybe that would be a better idea than just standing in the same place, air-headed. And with that, off she was.
❝When should I go back?… Taking fresh air doesn’t take that long, right? So it should be pretty quick—-!❞
And here she was, all the walking had made her arrive into a park. A nice place to start with, eh?
She gave a quick glance around. Aha! A empty bench. Now she was off to the bench ❝Maybe I could—-!?!❞And without even having the time to blink, she found herself on the ground with a thud along the way ❝O—oof—-!❞ When she glanced up, there was a person there, a male for all she saw, a male with blue hair to add ❝A-ah…! F-Forgive me!❞ Was she really supposed to apologise first? Well, she is a beginner anyway on being a princess, plus she was too careless to look in her way.
Kaito always left his apartment with the intention of jogging. He had standards to uphold, after all, and part of his contract explicitally stated that his body must be kept in good condition for photo shoots, concerts (where the hot stage lights often left him no choice but to strip off the heavy coat that was his costume), and similar events. Jogging was a great way to keep fit, but only if he didn’t get distracted people-watching and slow down to a walk in an attempt not to miss anything. Nine times out of ten, that was exactly what happened.
He had set himself up for failure, going to the park to “jog.” Pastel smears of sakura petels still lined the streets, finally blooming after the enduring winter they had. The sun was shining brightly against a vibrant blue backdrop, and everyone seemed to be out taking advantage of the good weather. It was impossible not to watch their interactions curiously, even if they were silenced by the headphones he wore.

❄~ “Ah?”
So focused on those around him, he didn’t even notice the one who was in front of him – Until she was on the ground. Confusion turned to horrified realization as he realized that he had run right into her. He couldn’t believe he had been so careless! He hadn’t even realized he had been walking that fast; maybe he was burning calories, after all! Immediately lending a hand to help her up, countless well-meaning platitudes spilled from his lips without a second thought.
❄~ “I’m so sorry! Really, it was all my fault. Are you alright?”
He hoped she wasn’t too hurt; he would have hated for his actions to be the cause of anyone’s distress! He really would have to be more careful! He silently chastised himself for getting so caught up in his surroundings that he forgot to take care of the most important part.
