They drove up to the familiar building and parked the car. Crickets were chirping loudly and the moon lit the whole sky. It was a beautiful location, and a rather nice apartment building too. It wasn’t much of a surprise that the two had chosen the same place.

~”Thanks for the ride.”~ She smiled brightly and bowed.

_{He smiled, waving it off as he exited the car. It was a lovely night, and weather-wise she would have been fine walking home. But he still doesn’t like the idea. A woman as beautiful as her walking alone at night … It made him uncomfortable to think of what might happen.}

     _{❄~ “Of course.”}

_{A pause; he felt like he should be saying something else. But what else is there? He simply walked along with her until they entered the apartment.}

     _{❄~ “Well, I guess this is good night? Ah, here.”}

_{He held up a finger, signalling her to wait, and then shuffled around in his pockets until he came up with an old receipt and a pen. Quickly, he scribbled across it, then handed it over.}

     _{❄~ “It’s my phone and apartment number. Come to me if you need anything, alright?”}

_{It was her lack of car that he was mainly thinking of, but it also seemed like the right thing to do. Android or not, there was no need to not be friendly, right?}
