Work was hard, today. Recording was fun, but Kaito viewed anything past that as a chore. Granted, photo shoots could sometimes be fun, especially the ones he had with Miku. He was able to have someone to joke with, chat with. But solo photo shoots – they were the worst. Kaito figured they could just leave those to the androids, honestly.
The photographer was a strict, no-nonsense woman who couldn’t be engaged in any conversation past a little to your left and tilt your head up a little, please. So it really was dull work, and it probably showed on his face. It was hard for him to give a genuine performance when he was getting so completely fed up with the whole thing. When his smle wasn’t wide enough for the eleventh time, and the photographer looked about ready to pull her hair out, an hour break was called.
Kaito didn’t want to be in Crypton’s building for that break. He needed some breathing room, so that he could come back calm and ready to work with the photographer that he was having less-than-happy thoughts about. So, he went to the nearby coffee shop, still dressed in his V3 costume, calming down with a cup of tea and headphones.

❄~ “Hmmm …”
It was nice, like this. He was tempted to skip out on work, but he knew he wouldn’t. He may not have been the most motivated person, and he never went above and beyond the call of duty, but he certainly didn’t skip out right in the middle of a photo shoot.
He didn’t even notice the male at first, but eventually he looked up to see him looking down at him expectantly. It was a fellow singer, although not from Crypton. Kamui Gakupo. Had he said something? Kaito pulled his headphones out of his ears, giving an apologetic smile.
❄~ “Ahhh, sorry about that. Hello!”
He had never met Gakupo in person, but he wasn’t at all positive that this was him. It seemed more likely that he was one of the android models. Kaito had gotten pretty good at identifying them, at this point. Still, that was no reason to behave any differently. It wasn’t as though he had met the real Gakupo to compare.
